MOXI uses a 1927 nm non-ablative fractional laser to create controlled microscopic treatment zones, supporting renewal and improvement in pigmentation, tone and texture.

What to expect.
Consultation
We assess your skin, concerns, medical history, previous treatments and what you'd like to achieve before deciding whether BBL, MOXI or a combination is most appropriate.
Preparation + patch testing
We'll explain how to prepare your skin and complete any required patch testing before your treatment.
BBL HERO
BBL is performed using filters and treatment settings selected for the visible reds, browns or other concerns we're targeting.
MOXI
MOXI is then used fractionally across the treatment area, with settings tailored according to your skin and the overall result we're working towards.
Aftercare + review
We'll guide you through your post-treatment skincare, what to expect as your skin settles and where the treatment fits within your longer-term skin plan.
What happens next?
Because two technologies are being used, your skin may show elements of the normal response associated with both treatments.
You may experience temporary warmth and redness. Targeted pigmentation can initially appear darker, while the skin may develop a dry or sandpaper-like texture as treated cells move towards the surface and naturally shed.
Your individual response and expected downtime will be discussed with you before treatment, together with personalised aftercare instructions.

Why have BBL and MOXI together?
The technologies work differently. BBL can target visible pigment and redness, while MOXI works fractionally to address pigmentation, tone and texture. Combining them can therefore allow us to address several aspects of the skin within one treatment strategy.
Does everyone need both treatments?
No. We only recommend combining BBL and MOXI when we believe your skin and concerns would benefit from both technologies. For some clients, one treatment alone may be more appropriate.
What is the downtime?
Downtime varies between individuals and according to the treatment settings used. Temporary redness, warmth, darkening of pigmentation and a dry or rough skin texture can occur while the skin goes through its post-treatment renewal process.
How many treatments will I need?
This depends on your starting point, concerns and goals. Your clinician will recommend whether a single treatment or a planned series is most appropriate for your skin.
Can BBL + MOXI be used on the neck and décolletage?
Depending on your skin, concerns and suitability, treatment can extend beyond the face to appropriate areas such as the neck and décolletage.
How do I know whether I need BBL, MOXI or both?
